Pavel Bogdanov

Pavel Bogdanov is a General Partner at Almaz Capital, based in Berlin, Germany.
Pasha’s investments range from consumer internet and gaming to B2B software.
His current interests are finding outstanding CEE engineering teams that build globally competitive software solutions, in particular, teams that use advances in machine learning to change large existing industries. He led deal execution for StarWind, Jelastic, Parallels, Acumatica, among other Almaz companies. He helps portfolio companies with strategy, fundraising, and recruitment. Pasha serves as member of the Board of Directors at Alawar, FinalPrice, 3DLOOK and OneSoil.
Prior to joining Almaz Capital, Pasha was a partner at RT, an early-stage venture capital fund focused on CIS startups, managing ten portfolio companies.
Previously he was an Investment Director in Sistema Telecom, arranging $2 billion of debt and equity financings.
Pasha earned a PhD from Stanford University and worked in semiconductor yield and holds MBA from INSEAD.
